Vacation

After the 4th was behind us, the three of us headed back to the lake house to resume our week of vacation.  It was really nice to have some quiet time together just being a family.  We did some fishing, a bunch of swimming, a whole lot of eating, and a TON of sweating!  It's been exceptionally hot in Oklahoma this summer and unless you're in the water, you better be staying indoors.  Most of the wildlife we typically see was hidden away avoiding the heat but we did get an unexpected visit from some very special guests one evening just before bed.  There were three of these little guys who were probably out playing while Mama was watching from nearby.  We never saw her but these babies were adorable!
