Juwee's Travels

Another fabulous visit from Aunt Julie has sadly come to a close. She arrived in Edmond on Thursday and first thing Friday morning we whisked her away to our little piece of paradise at Lake Eufaula. We spent countless hours swimming, leisurely floating about, and soaking up the delicious, hot rays. Nicholas joined us for a little swim time too but he didn't want to venture too far from shore. He's just not that comfortable with it yet but I'm confident we'll get there eventually. Luckily, Papa Jaggi was there to keep him entertained and show him the fun of burying yourself in the sand. He loved that! He also got to wear his adorable new wetsuit that Mimi bought him and I think he looked positively adorable!!!! It has floats in the top to help him learn to swim and seems very practical. And of course no trip to the lake would be complete without fishing and his beloved boat rides. After a few days of R&R we headed back home, but we didn't leave all the fun at the lake. We brought some back with us and took it to our neighborhood pool this morning before Julie had to head back to Missouri. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed every second of it. Nicholas was obsessed with the bug trap and kept lifting the lid to point out the "yucky buggies" inside.

Yes, once again we had the time of our lives and hated to see Aunt Juwee (I love the way he says that!) drive away. She had to leave during Nicholas' nap time and it broke my heart when he woke up asking for her over and over. But we know she'll be back soon and we'll get to do it all over again!!!
His new wetsuit. My little muscle man!
Big fun = big appetite.
Checking the bug trap for the millionth time. Boys.

  2. It could not have been a more heavenly, relaxing, peaceful, giggly, cuddly, sunbeat time! I had such fun, and as my tear stained pillow can attest, I am NOT ready to be here again.

I'll see you soon, my loves - best. time. ever.

I love you all so very, very much.
